Guglielmo Maggini

The work of Guglielmo Maggini (Rome, 1992) explores the blurred boundary between sculpture and environmental installation. Through the combination of traditional materials, such as ceramics, and synthetic polymers like resins and rubber, his syncretic use of materials results in fluid, arabesque-like, spongy, and branched forms.

These elements inhabit the space, altering our perception of it, as if they were artifacts and memories of renewed realities. Site-specific works, such as the formless pink-hued casting on the staircase of the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza (2024) and the floating sculptures in the exhibition *Nel tuo affondare, la mia forma* (2026), redefine space as a plastic and sensory volume, creating a visual alphabet that bridges the biological world and the psychological dimension.

A graduate in Architectural Sciences from Roma Tre University, Maggini specialized at the University of the Arts London – Camberwell College of Arts. In 2025, he won the Talent Prize.
